To help you manage development costs, Timberline Gold’s Job Cost module monitors estimates, revenue, costs, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders. With Job Cost’s up-to-the-minute information management, you can spot potential problems, like cost overruns and production issues, before they become real problems. Job Cost capabilities include:

  • Customized information tracking—allows you to track jobs in as much detail as you want.
  • General Ledger account retrieval—ensures that specified GL accounts are used when costs are posted to certain jobs, cost codes, and categories.
  • Subcontract and purchase orders customization—gives you total control over committed costs. Issue subcontract and purchase order commitments for any combination of jobs, cost codes, or categories. Break out subcontracts or POs into unlimited line items, and add detailed descriptions.
  • Change order tracking—lets you track change orders awaiting approval and log details after approval.
  • Reports and inquiries feature—provides you with almost 50 reports and 30 inquiries, such as Profit Summary, Committed Cost Status, Change Order Log, Productivity Variance, Unit Cost Analysis, and Historical Unit Cost.
