Using Gold's Advanced Retail module, you can enter the breakpoints, percentages, and effective dates on the lease record, then automatically calculate overage rent when you enter periods sales figures. Advanced Retail can also make automatic adjustments for tenants who report estimated figures throughout the year and audited figures at year-end. Gold's Advanced Retail offers the following capabilities:

• Overage rent—can be calculated by cumulative, non-cumulative, or prorated breakpoints. Formulas can be created to handle unique overage calculations.
• Sales types—allow tenant sales tracking by up to ten different classifications, such as budgeted, estimated, reported, audited, or any other sales type you define.
• Sales categories—allow tenant sales tracking by department or product type. Overage calculation can also be performed by sales category.
• Automated overage recalculation—allows on-demand rent reconciliation.
